Brother Luke Salm, FSC Religious Education Workshop

The Brother Luke Salm, FSC Religious Education Workshop is an annual event designed to support and inspire Lasallian educators and administrators, specifically those teaching religious education. Taking place from October 20 to 22, 2024, at the Bon Secours Retreat and Conference Center in Marriottsville, Maryland, the workshop provides a space for participants to reflect on their roles in the Lasallian ministry, share experiences, and explore innovative ways to bring the gospel’s message to the youth they serve.

Named in honor of Brother Luke Salm, FSC, a revered Lasallian scholar, this gathering emphasizes both professional and spiritual development, aligning with the Lasallian mission of transforming lives through faith-based education. The workshop includes keynote addresses, interactive discussions, personal reflection opportunities, and prayerful moments, all centered on renewing the commitment to Lasallian education and evangelization.

This year’s event promises to be particularly engaging, with sessions dedicated to addressing contemporary issues in educating young people, helping educators integrate the Lasallian charism more fully into their teaching, and promoting deeper connections between faith and education. By offering both practical strategies and moments of spiritual renewal, the Brother Luke Salm Workshop continues to play a role in advancing the mission of Lasallian education in today’s world.
