Along with the global Lasallian Family and people of goodwill around the world, we mourn the passing of our Holy Father, Pope Francis.

For us as Lasallians in a particular way, we appreciate that Francis’ persistent love for young people was inspiring. “As young people, you are indeed the joyful hope of the Church and of a humanity always on the move. I would like to take you by the hand and walk with you on the path of hope.” These words to young people for World Youth Day 2023 highlight his belief in the goodness of young people and the importance of good accompaniment.
