Empowering Lasallian Academic Leaders

The 2024 Academic Vice Principals and Curriculum Coordinators Gathering offers a program designed to reflect, collaborate, and inspire. Held annually, this event invited Academic Vice Principals and Curriculum Coordinators from the District of Eastern North America (DENA) to engage in discussions that deepened their commitment to Lasallian pedagogy and to the intellectual, social, and spiritual growth of students.

The gathering served as a platform for exchanging best practices, identifying new strategies to address common challenges, and fostering collaboration among Lasallian institutions. Through table conversations, school tours, and open forums, attendees gained exposure to new ideas, shared successful initiatives, and built partnerships that extended beyond the event itself. The event also reinforced a shared Lasallian identity among participants, encouraging them to integrate Lasallian values more profoundly into their schools’ curriculum and administration.

Ultimately, this gathering aimed to renew and strengthen the Lasallian mission across DENA, ensuring that all Lasallian schools remained united in their goal of educating young people for the challenges of the modern world. By coming together to support one another and innovate collectively, Lasallian educators ensured their schools remained transformative spaces where students grew not only academically but also spiritually and morally.

Through this gathering, DENA’s Academic Vice Principals and Curriculum Coordinators were empowered to continue inspiring and educating in the Lasallian tradition.
