Before Alydia Mayol started high school, she was highly aware of the strong educational tradition at Saint Raphael Academy, as her brother Pedro was a 2023 graduate.
“I chose Saint Raphael Academy for high school because a few years ago, my older brother attended the school, and I saw how much it was able to help him,” she said. “The education he received from Saints allowed him to go to a great college and it has set him up for success in his future. I am hoping that Saints will do the same for me.”
Alydia is definitely on track for success, as she was placed in Saint Raphael Academy’s honors program. Her favorite subject is English, and she loves to write. As a freshman, Alydia is still exploring the many extracurricular activities at Saints. She was on the tech crew for the fall production of Godspell and is an active participant in the SRA Dance Company. “I look forward to joining more clubs and activities in my years to come at Saint Raphael Academy,” she said.
She is grateful for the opportunity that the Saint John Baptist de La Salle Fund has given her and the impact it has had for her family. “Especially with my parents already having one child in college, this scholarship has helped make my hopes of attending Saints more affordable.”
The Saint John Baptist de La Salle Fund seeks to ensure that a Lasallian education is available and accessible to those students most in need. The Fund provides tuition assistance for students to attend one of our Lasallian schools. With your support, we are now providing more than $1 million annually for our students in need.
